Small Fry was established in 1982 by Marie Davidson & Jo Atkinson. Marie's sister Liz Ross, took over in 1998 up to 2003 and joined forces with Naomi and Peter Derrick, who have been involved with Small Fry since 1989. They came on board to manage in 2003. In 2001 Naomi and Peter founded Derrick Talent Management (DTM), which is now the adult agency for Small Fry.

Small Fry is one of Victoria's leading modelling and casting agencies. We are selective in recruiting our talent base and do not accept everyone. Small Fry is highly regarded within the industry and by our peers. We pride ourselves on the reputation that we have worked to establish over the years of: good talent, good service and fair and honest management.

Small Fry represents babies, children, and teenagers of every description ranging from newborns to up to 15 years. DTM represents 16 years and onwards including adults of a mature status.

Small Fry was a founding member of the Victorian Children's Agents' Association. (VCAA)
